You Made It! is an AR camera filter I created for ArtCenter’s graduation exhibition, giving students a virtual cap and diploma to capture the graduation photo moment we didn’t get in person.

Congrats, Class of Spring 2024 🎓🎉
At ArtCenter, graduation didn’t come with the classic cap-and-diploma moment I had always imagined. There was no cap to wear, and no physical diploma to hold during the ceremony. For a day that marks such a meaningful transition, I felt like something symbolic was missing.
You Made It! was my way of bringing that moment back. Created for my graduation exhibition, the AR camera filter let students wear a virtual graduation cap and pose with a recreated ArtCenter diploma, turning a small personal disappointment into a shared photo moment for the Class of Spring 2024.
